Q. Do I need a referral from a doctor to see a dietitian?
A. You do not need a referral but one might be required by your insurance company. If a referral is needed, we can help you get a referral form to your doctor.
Q: Are dietitian services covered by my insurance plan?
A: Many insurance companies cover nutrition therapy provided by a registered dietitian. You should call the member services number on your card to verify coverage before your appointment.
Q: What insurance plans do you file for your patients?
A: Many different health insurance plans are accepted. We file Aetna, Medicare, SoonerCare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Pacificare, Health Choice, and Cigna. Please call to discuss your specific plan.
Q: Can I receive services if I don’t have insurance or my insurance doesn’t cover nutrition counseling?
A: Yes, payment options are available. Please call for our fee schedule. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
